     I was sitting alone in the study. I had a variety of books stacked in front of me. Titles decorated the spines of them. Spiders, snakes, bats, and all sorts of other animals.     Outside the sky was painted black, no stars. The room was very dim in the candle light as well as pitch black where the simple light could not reach. Shelves upon shelves; twisting and turning; a labyrinth of knowledge. A maze of darkness.     I felt warm sitting there reading. The candle burning slowly as it cast its comforting glow on me.
